The young, exuberant & dynamic promoter duo of Konark Exim, Vinayak Shah & Bhavna Pradip Shah are not just chasing BIG dreams, but efficiently fulfilling them too. The name Konark, derived from the Sun temple of Konark, represents movement, energy, brightness, and life on planet earth. Likewise, Konark Exim is on the go to make the earth a better place by way of recycling waste, efficiently, and professionally!

We believe, Recycling is the third component of the “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” waste hierarchy and is a crucial element in modern waste reduction. Recycling is a process by which existing material goods are reused. Old material goods (used products) are collected, cleaned, sorted, and taken to a manufacturing plant. New goods are made from recycled materials. Recycling strives to promote environmental sustainability by substituting inputs of raw materials and redirecting waste outputs out of the economic system.

It is our contribution towards the circular economy, where we are Reducing, Reusing, Recycling…closing the loop.

Mission

With Konark Exim, we align ourselves with Clean India and Green India, the two great missions launched by India which is set by UNO under the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), which are the yardstick of the agenda of sustainable development. With the recycling of waste for making products that can be reused, we are closing the loop of the circular economy. We are a channel between waste providers and waste recyclers, which is involved in “waste management” by ensuring smooth supply-chain management. We are on a mission to Reuse, recycle, and reduce waste for a better future.

Vision

While we read news about global conglomerates like Apple and Amazon pledging to be “net-carbon-zero,” by 2030, this shapes our vision too. We at Konark Exim envision a ‘net-carbon-zero’ planet where our contribution would be significant.
Research from Stanford University shows, one tonne of recycled office paper saves a staggering 4,100 Kw/h of energy, nine barrels of oil, 54 million BTUs (British Thermal Units) of energy, 27 kg of air pollutants from being released, 7,000 gallons of water, and 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space. This speaks volumes about our vision.
